Chick-fil-A Suffering from Boycott
SOUTH CHARLESTON- The GLAAD boycott against Chick-fil-A due to "anti-gay marriage" comments by owner Dan Cathy, was being felt all the way to South Ridge shopping area in South Charleston. The effect is such that they may be going out of business.
GLAAD To Picket All Chick-Fil-A Locations This Sunday
GLAAD (Gay, Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) will be holding all-day protests at all Chick-fil-A franchise locations this Sunday. The group will be holding signs, handing out informational flyers and hoping to disrupt Chick-fil-A business that day to protest the recent revelation that the "Christian" owner actually holds a traditional "Biblical" view on marriage.
Holy Whopper! Burger King to Use Baptized-Only Animals
The movement by U.S. Food Corporation toward more humane treatment of animals experienced a whopper of a shift Tuesday when Burger King announced that it will that all of its eggs, beef, and pork will come from baptized and religious bred chickens, cows, and pigs by 2017.
