The invasion is reported to take place on Saturday August 25. President of the International Zombie Alliance, Rusty DeKay refused to comment on the invasion. Resources close to alliance have stated that the Zombie organization is upset with Guyandotte Mayor Rick Simmons recent portrayal of a zombie and will seek revenge on his town.
"We will be prepared for any attack by the Zombie Alliance." stated Mayor Simmons. The attack will supposedly take place during the nationally known SwineFest which draws between eight to ten thousand people annually. "We have called in Zombie Hunters from 5 different states to counteract any aggression from the alliance." Simmons said.
SwineFest organizers have promised festival goers that everyone will be safe from any attacks. "We have taken every precaution possible to protect the public." stated SwineFest Vice President Scott Mitchell as he donned Zombie protective headgear. Ohio residents, Jason and Crystal Lemaster will head up the Zombie resistant committee. They have over 12 years of experience handling zombies.
The International Zombie Alliance has attacked 254 towns since 2008.
