Sure, the Muslim Brotherhood is now in charge of Egypt and considered one of the Arab world's largest and most influencial Islamic movements, but it hasn't always been so well-revered.  Why only last year FBI Director Robert Mueller told a House committe that elements of the Muslim Brotherhood are in the United States have supported terrorism here and overseas. And their ideology has inspired terrorists such as Osama bin Laden.  It has also been called one of the world's most insidious and implacable jihad organizations [LINK].

It's a good thing Nick Joe Rahall is so open-minded. He was supporitive of the terrorist-friendly group before it was cool.

In 2007 Rahall, along with Wisconson Congresswoman, Gwen Moore (whose sons were convicted of slashing car tires of Republicans during the 2004 election) North Carolina Democrat Congressmen, David Price, Republican Representaive from Nebraska, Jeff Fortenberry met with the head of the banned and outlawed Muslim Brotherhood's parliamentary bloc, at the Egyptian Parliament in Cairo, Egypt.  The purpose of that meeting has been described as discussing the 'current challenges across the Middle East', and according to some 'appeasement'.  Nevertheless, it's obvious Nick Joe Rahall is relentless in supporting his home state homeland.

Nick Joe Rahall, whose grandparents immigrated from Lebanon, is the most senior of five Arab American lawmakers on Capitol Hill.  It shouldn't be a surpise, then, that Nick is a long-time advocate for Arab countries in a Congress dominated by pro-Israel members.  God (oops, sorry) Alah Bless Him!

In 1993, he was the lone House member to vote against a resolution calling for an end to an Arab boycott of Israel. He spent years pressing the State Department to end a ban on travel to Lebanon, where his grandfathers were born. He got his wish in 1997.

In 2001, he was one of 11 members of Congress to vote against a resolution insisting that the Palestinian Authority take steps to end a terrorist campaign — because, he said at the time, it did not also condemn attacks on Palestinians by Israelis.

He flew to Iraq in 2002 to meet with a top aide to Saddam Hussein in an effort to avert war, and voted against going to war. And he traveled to Syria to meet with President Bashar Assad in 2003, and voted against increasing sanctions based on allegations that the country was a state sponsor of terrorism.

And, as of 2004 Nick's sister, Tanya Rahall, was pulling in $15,000 a month as a lobbyist and key advocate for the Arab monarchy, Qatar [LINK].

Not a man to rest on his laurels, Rahall announced in 2008, "I proudly chaired the "Arab American's for Obama" campaign.  A nationwide group dedicated to mobilizing Arab Americans bringing light to those issues we care about."  He also chaired the "West Virginian's for Obama" - but the movement never gained momentum since the Obama campaign had no issues in common with Mountain State voters.  "I decided to support Barack Hussein Obama and since Arab Americans were more supportive of his radical agenda for American than West Virginians, it was an easy call."

The FBI Chief and Republican Congress people have warned that "The danger of the Muslim Brotherhood is not just encouraging terrorism through their ideology, but also trying to take over government, so everyone has to succumb and live under their ideology," [LINK].  They say,

The scope of the Brotherhood's vision for the United States was spelled out in a 1991 document called the "Explanatory Memorandum." In that memo, which federal prosecutors introduced as evidence in two trials of the now-defunct Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, Brotherhood leaders said they planned to create an Islamic state in the United States.

In that document, the Brotherhood's stated goal was "a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions." http://www.investigativeproject.org/2581/fbi-chief-muslim-brotherhood-supports-terrorism

Shouldn't that give Rahall pause for thought in dealing with, representing and so strongly identifying with these groups?

"Nonsence," Said Rahall spokesman, Nevah Telda Trooth, "The Department of Homeland Security PSA's clearly shows us that White Americans are the most likely terrorists [LINK].  And Obama was clearly talking about West Virginian's when he warned about people bitterly clinging to their Bibles and Guns [LINK].

"Rahall believes that once Obama's policies are in full swing; killing West Virginia Coal jobs, destroying private healthcare in support of a more socialst government system - West Virginian's are going to be a problem.  We'll need our Muslim Brotherhood friends to do here what they've done in Egypt.  They've assured us they share Obama's and Rahall's vision for American -- and that Rahall will have a position in the new order."
