According to Principal Rick Holmes, the first grade class was discussing civics and the teacher, Ann Bright, was asking the children who they wanted as the next president. The unidentified youngster said he was for anyone but Obama. He called Obama a "big doo doo head" because he was the reason his dad was unemployed. The boy said he was tired of being teased by his classmates for being on foodstamps and it was all Obama's fault. The boy was sent to the principal's office where he was suspended for the remainder of the school year.
Principal Holmes said, "It's got to stop somewhere. It is un-American to call our president names. If you let him get away with it, there is no way of knowing how bad it can get. First they're name calling, then they are wearing t-shirts supporting the Tea Party. Before you know it, the kid is leading a rally. We cannot tolerate that sort of behavior. We do not want radicals here in Williamson, so we are nipping that sort of thing in the bud."
Scott Sperry, identified as the child's father said, "Well, I admit it is my fault. I should be the one punished because my boy has heard me call Obama a lot worse names than 'doo doo head'. In fact, it was awful polite of my son to call Obama a 'doo doo head', I call him a &^*%head.
"I do think they went a little too far with things. They also had the Secret Service pull up to our house and interrogate my boy. The funny thing is that when I left to run some errands the same cars they were in were parked in front of the local strip bar. Three hours later, when I came home, they were still there."
The Secret Service admitted they questioned the boy but concluded he was not a threat. Secret Service Agent Brad Jenkins said, "Actually he seemed like a sweet kid, he is just a bit too outspoken. We have to check these things out as a precaution. It certainly was not a wasted trip because West Virginia does have some great strip bars. These good looking West Virginia girls make any trip here a worthwhile trip. In fact, we hope another one of these little b--tards smarts off real soon."
