Laverne Cassidy comes to the Diggerer from Denver, Colorado. There he wrote 3 years for "The Avalanche" covering mostly ski lift schedules.
A renowed internet archaeologist, he spends his off-time as the leader of an International Team Fortress 2 group becoming a two-time recipient of the life-time achievement award.
Cassidy lives with a German Shepherd name Yoko that barks in Japanese, and is the author of an unpublished best seller, "Video Games for Losers".
