Betty Gray, a long time resident of Sissonville, said, "That windchime had been hanging on my porch for years. It isn't one of those cheap dollar store windchimes. It cost me 9.99 at The Kmart years ago. That's back when everyone went to Kmart. There wasn't any WalMarts then. It's probably worth alot more, now."
Gray is grateful for his help. "It's about time someone does something around here. Just last week I had a yard gnome kidnapped. I haven't seen it yet except for a photo they sent me of it near the Grand Canyon. But Silver Beatle is working on that for me. He scared me at first because he just had on a t-shirt with Silver Beatle scribbled in crayon and a pair of silver running pants. But I knew when I saw my wind charm in his hand that he was a good guy. I do believe I have seen him around the neighbor though. He really looks like the man I saw cleaning the bathrooms at Sheetz last week. But I don't care who he is. I'm just glad he is looking out for us."
The elderly superhero proclaimed, "I stand for what is right. I intend on making the streets and trailer courts of Sissonville safe. I will not rest knowing that criminal minds are plotting our destruction."
The Silver Beatle declined to reveal his identity and asked not to be photographed -- claiming his is worried about his nemsis's retaliating. He did allow us to take a photo of his "Silver Beatlemobile" [EDITOR: You are aware he was standing in front of his car, right? Please photoshop him out of the picture.] He did reveal that he was a 'child of the 60's' that grew up watching Batman and Superman on television and listening to the Beatles. The Silver Beatle said, "Not too many people know that The Beatles started as The Silver Beatles ...but they did. I am not sure what that has to do with me being The Silver Beatle but it must mean something or it wouldn't have happened. Everything happens for a reason."
The mysterious bug-based vigilante has been hard at work. Just last week he rescued a cat from a tree and gave two lost people directions. "Sissonville is not a good place to be lost. If I wouldn't have been there to show them where they wanted to go, hard telling what would have happened. After I make Sissonville crime-free I will work on Charleston. Never fear West Virginia, The Silver Beatle has your back."
The Silver Beatle says that with a little experience and some technology like a laptop or cell phone he can eventually help solve world problems. He is working on new secret weapons including one involving a Slinky but does not want to divulge any information. The Silver Beatle said, "The world will come to know The Silver Beatle and to love him. if you are a thug up to no good, watch out! The Silver Beatle is going to get you!"
