The History Channel's Hatfield and McCoys miniseries was the second most watched show in basic cable history. The series averaged 13.8 million viewers during its three night run. The success of the show has created a major demand for Hatfield & McCoy / Hillbilly products.

The success of the History Channels mini-series, 'Hatfields & McCoys' was met with much anticipation in many West Virginia and Kentucky homes. Thankfully, the painful time in both states history was told with such depth and honesty historians and citizens alike are breathing a sigh of relief. That relief, however, may be short-lived.
