Our staff is over worked and under appreciated! [editor, please remove this]
The Diggerer DOES take submissions: Articles, Features, Cartoons, Photos (Somewhere In WVa or Story Related).
We cannot guarantee publication, but let's be serious... we're begging here - it'll probably happen. Editoral changes may be necessary and no payment will be made for submissions but we WILL give credit to the submitter (aren't we nice!).
We DO suggest a 'pen name' to protect your own identity (and reputation).
What are we looking for?
Light-side, funny, family-friendly articles poking fun at life, sports, politics, business, etc. in West Virginia. Nothing mean-spirited, or taking hard personal jabs (except where might be REALLY necessary). If you have something to say about something outside of West Virginia, run it by us! We'll take a look and see if it fits.
I LOVE West Virginia, I grew up here and have lived here most of my life. Most of the true mountaineers and home folks have GREAT senses of humor and can poke fun at themselves better than anyone. It is that self-deprecating humor that The Diggerer wants.
