People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals AND Agriculture
MORGANTOWN- Founded in 1980, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has had as it's mission statement, "Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment." After 32 years, PETA is joining forces with another activist group and getting a name change in the bargain and a slightly updated motto.
