STEPHANOPOULOS: You were against the individual mandate...
OBAMA: Yes.
STEPHANOPOULOS: ...during the campaign. Under this mandate, the government is forcing people to spend money, fining you if you don't. How is that not a tax?
OBAMA: Well, hold on a second, George. Here — here's what's happening. You and I are, uh, both paying... blah, blah blah...
STEPHANOPOULOS: That may be, but it's still a tax increase.
OBAMA: No. That's not true, George. The — for us to say that, you've got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase!

Clearly, this is a troubling week for Obama's relationship with the Supremes. First, they upheld Arizona Law enforcement's ability to check papers of Democratic Voters, um... illegal aliens -- forcing the Federal Government to do absolutely nothing differently [LINK]. Now, they have embarrassed him nationally by saying he doesn't know what he's talking about - the mandate IS a TAX.
In a 5 to 4 majority, the Supreme Court left standing the basic provision of health care reform. Chief Justice Roberts was amoung the majority that ruled the government may tax the people to death by forcing them to buy health insurance.
"Obama is inconsolable," said White House insider, Ima Snupe. "He's smoking a pack of cigs an hour and won't talk to anyone. He just stays in the Oval Office for hours on end putting plastic golf balls at the FOX NEWS Channel. Michelle tries to bring him healthy snacks but he won't touch them.
"President. Obama hates it when anyone disobeys or makes him look stupid. and it's happening a lot! I hope he can recover from this one!"
WV Senator, Jay Rockefeller said, "I TOLD everyone this was a tax! But, nobody believed me! [LINK]. That's one of the many reasons I fought for comprehensive health care reform. This is a proud day for American and Western Virginia residents."
