Few think twice now, but there was a time, not too long ago that folks mocked the idea of paying a dollar or more for a simple bottle of water. "Why should WATER cost as much as a soda pop?". After all, we can turn our taps on in the kitchen and get it 'for free' - or so it seemed.
Now, we easily accept that the delicious, refreshing, uncontaminated water in that clear plastic bottle costs as much as the highly processed soda. But why IS the price of water so high? Why does Big Water over-charge for ...well WATER?!
