Having tired of their 'constitutional' meddling, Obama has drawn a line in the sand and threatened them as only a smooth talking Chicago politician can, Speaking to leaders of ...um Canada and Mexicio -- Obama's threat was thinly veiled, "Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," 

No doubt the fact that ALL laws that come out of Congress are passed by a "majority of a democratically elected Congress" will be lost on this uppity legal 'clique'.  

On a roll, the President then turned his sights on Republicans "And I'd just remind conservative commentators that, for years, what we have heard is, the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism, or a lack of judicial restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law,"  OUCH! Two attacks in one!  First, he commondeers the term, 'judicial activism' to mean something exactly opposite (those knuckle-draggers won't even catch it) - THEN he lets loose the WMD of all subtle threats on the justices!  "Well, this is a good example, and I'm pretty confident that this court will recognize that and not take that step,"

If those Justices know what's good for them, they will read between the not-so-hard-to-read lines and know that this President won't let 'Constitutionality' (whatever THAT means) stand in the way of, as he put it, "fundamentally transforming the United States of America."  I have no doubt, this President will do whatever it takes, TO whomever it takes to accomplish his goals.
